Playing hockey really is no different than any other decision you make in life. The first, and oftentimes the hardest step, always, is to decide to do something. Then, you spend some time researching, educating yourself and

Although, if you’re over thirty and thinking about playing hockey, you might want to skip the part about asking your friends and family – there’s a good chance they’ll tell you you’re crazy! If you do decide to ask your loved ones what they think, and they say anything other than, “Yeah, you go girl!”, ignore them! They either have no interest in hockey (what?!?) or, secretly, they want to play too, but they’re too afraid to even consider it for themselves.

Okay, you’re going with your gut and you’re armed with what you’ve found online. You’ve got information and advice some experts have given. And, regardless of the well-meaning opinions of your Auntie Sue, you now ask yourself, is this something I really want to do? If the answer is yes, then comes the final, and easiest step. Go and do it!

You’re here, so you must have an interest in playing hockey!

And we know what you’re thinking…
“How do I start playing, with people who already know how, and I have never played?!?”

Remember…Everyone started out as a beginner!

And the remaining .01%? Don’t mind them. They’re just small fish in the big hockey pond.
